Meet Swati Raj, Edmonton Lawyer

Swati is a principal lawyer at Chahal Raj Law. She focuses her practice in the areas of Family Law, Adult Adoption, Real Estate, Wills and Estate Planning, and Immigration and Refugee Protection.

Before her admission to the Alberta Bar in 2017, she practiced law in New Delhi, India for four years concentrating primarily in the areas of Family Law, Civil Litigation, Banking Laws, Consumer laws and Corporate Law. During her practice years in India, she gained the insight of empathy and compassion and how to apply these qualities in advocating for her client’s issues.

Swati has a Bachelor of Law degree from New Delhi, India. She articled with the renowned law firms in Edmonton and St. Albert in the areas of Family Law, Real Estate, Wills and Estate Planning, Corporate Law, and Civil Litigation.

Since 2017, Swati has been maintaining a general practice of law and assisting the community with her affordable legal fees and structured approach to get practical legal solutions.

Currently, Swati is on the legal aid roaster and volunteers with Edmonton Community Legal Centre.

Swati is also proud to represent the LGBT community of Alberta.
